How it Works

1. REFERRAL

We require a GP referral for all surgical procedures. Please book in with your GP to discuss and obtain a referral.

2. CONSULTATION

This information needs to be added, specific to what actually happens at a PSQ consultation for a face and neck lift.

3. THE PROCEDURE

Face and neck lift surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and typically takes 2–4 hours. Incisions are carefully placed around the ears and hairline to minimise visible scarring.

The underlying tissues are tightened, excess skin is removed, and the incisions are closed with fine sutures. Special attention is given to the deeper facial layers and neck muscles to ensure long-lasting, natural results and to protect vital structures such as the facial nerves.

4. RECOVERY & RESULTS

Most patients return home the same day or after an overnight stay. Expect swelling and bruising for 1–2 weeks, with most people returning to work and social activities within 2–3 weeks.

Improvements are visible once swelling subsides, with final results developing over several months. Scars continue to fade over time.

Your surgeon will provide detailed aftercare instructions and schedule follow-up appointments to monitor your healing.

Post Operative Appointments are offered at the practice where you had your initial consultations.

5. RISKS AND COMPLICATIONS

All surgical procedures carry some risks. Potential complications include bleeding, infection, scarring, nerve injury, and anaesthetic risks. Your surgeon will discuss these in detail and answer any questions during your consultation.
